Since the invention of the medium photographers have turned to architecture and construction projects as subjects and for inspiration. But there have been few creative collaborations between an architect and photographer as significant, enduring and intimate as that of Harry Seidler and Max Dupain. This extraordinary display highlights the importance of Seidler’s work in the development of Dupain’s unparalleled career as an architectural photographer. It also illustrates the impact of Dupain’s photographic vision on Seidler’s architecture.
