FRIENDS OF MGA: Q & A WITH BILL HENSON

For this special evening event, Henson will respond to questions from the audience, providing a personal insight to his unique artistic vision.
Bill Henson is Australia's premier photographic artist. Over the past 30 years Henson has stunned the world with his masterful photographs that evoke breathless moments of beauty within the brooding drama of cinematic tableaux.
Henson grew up in Glen Waverly, and he has been a long-term supporter of the MGA. The MGA also holds one of the largest public collection of Henson's work in the world, which includes photographs from many of his most iconic series. This exhibition will provide the opportunity to view these holdings, and showcase a recent donation of 10 gelatin silver prints from 1977.
