Artist statement: Locals gather around an outdoor public internet hot spot in Havana, Cuba. For most of us living in first world countries we take the internet and social media for granted. In Cuba the public access to internet and social media for the first time has only been introduced over the past year. Now most Havana locals, particularly the youth can be seen in various government controlled internet hot spots scattered around the city.
