We also welcome on board Chain of Ponds and Bright Brewery - so whether you're a beer lover or wine connoisseur we will have you covered at the opening event on Thursday 19 October!

Chain of Ponds Wines is a boutique winery established in 1985 in the Adelaide Hills Wine Region. It has earned its status as a 5 star winery in James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 2017.

Bright Brewery was born in 2005 from a passion for well-made beer, a love for the town of Bright and its pristine alpine environment, and the adventurous outdoors lifestyle that the High Country provides. Located on Great Alpine Road in the heart of Bright, Bright Brewery uses fresh mountain water, quality ingredients and craft brewing techniques to brew their Mountain Crafted beers.

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins plays an integral part in Melbourne's arts community by sponsoring art organisations and has supported the MGA and the Bowness Photography Prize enthusiastically for many years. Yet again Sofitel is providing stunning accommodation for the Bowness Photography Prize VIPs.

Lastly we would like to introduce our newest supporters, Thames & Hudsonwho are generously supporting the People's Choice Award. Visit the gallery to cast your vote during the exhibition and have your say. All voters go into the draw for a selection of Thames & Hudson publications. The MGA Foundation will award $1,000 to the most popular work. The People's Choice Award will be announced on 27 November 2017.
