Case studies

MGA Education has sought advice from the VCAA to develop a series of education resources for the new Studio Arts study design.

This series of case studies, focuses on the role of the curator and artist when putting on an exhibition in a public gallery.

In particular this resource aims to assist students to "analyse how specific artworks are presented in different exhibitions and demonstrate an understanding of the artists’ and gallery curators’ intentions" as required in Unit 4, Area of Study 3, Art Industry Contexts.
