Join us online on a Monday evening for an in-depth panel talk about perception and the imperceivable in art and science.

Photography does the impossible – it stills time – and in very few instances, it allows us to perceive what is otherwise invisible … perhaps a spirit, a sensation, an emotion. Hoda Afshar’s work is deeply concerned with this idea of grasping at what is only just there.

This virtual discussion will draw on the concept of picturing the invisible, with contributions from a synaesthete composer, a quantum physicist and MGA’s 2022 Luminary artist, Hoda Afshar.
