MGA’s Gala Fundraising Dinner and Auction: Eden makes an important contribution to the gallery’s fundraising efforts. It brings together people from all parts of our community – business groups, Councillors, community members and gallery supporters who love art and contribute to the success of this key fundraising event.

MGA is delighted to announce James Mathison as MC for the 2017 Gala.
James is a highly experienced and successful TV presenter who shot to fame on Australian television as the co-host of Australia Idol. James has hosted three ARIA Awards and quickly became known for his quick wit, charm and comedic abilities

Art Auction
The highlight of the evening is a lively and competitive art auction of generously donated works by prominent Australian photographers, as well as in-kind donations from corporate sponsors across the hospitality and arts sectors. Information about the art auction will be available soo.
The funds raised on the night will assist the gallery’s operations by contributing towards artist and exhibition fees; free education programs; and conserving works from our collection.
