LIGHT READING: works from the MGA collection

10 December 2014 to 1 March 2015

In anticipation of the Photobook Melbourne festival (12—22 February 2015) this selection of works from the MGA collection celebrates the relationship between photography and reading.

Over the summer MGA’s Bowness Gallery will host a range of page-turning displays and events that explore the importance of story-telling and publishing to the medium of photography.

The Natural Collection

The Natural Collection is a project run by Matt Johnston (The Photobook Club) and co-curated by Lucy Johnson which aims to explore the harmony, tension and play that occurs in our relationship with nature and the natural landscape. You'll be able to not just see, but also touch and read your way through this collection of over 40 books. more info...
