Damien Shen (born Australia 1976) is an Adelaide-based artist with Chinese and Ngarrindjeri heritage. Shen is known for portraits that explore his own identity through the documentation of his ancestry. He uses a range of media to create his works, including drawing, painting, print-making and photography.

Works from Shen’s series On the fabric of the Ngarrindjeri body – volume II are on display in the Monash Civic Centre foyer.
