MGA is the custodian of one of the municipality's most important assets: the nationally significant City of Monash Collection of over 3,400 photographs.

The Glen

The Glen Shopping Centre joined MGA as a Major Partner, gifting MGA a unique, permanent exhibition space within The Glen’s new Fashion and Lifestyle precinct. This strong community partnership continues to expand our audiences, providing the opportunity for MGA to display works that reflect the gallery’s current exhibition program. Through this exciting initiative, shoppers will be introduced to some of Australia’s leading photographic artists. The Bowness Family Foundation is committed to supporting not for profit organisations that provide access and opportunity to enrich the culture, education and potential of our community.  The Foundation supports projects in three key areas: Arts & Culture, Disability & Communication and Education.

The Vizard Foundation

Established in 1991, the Vizard Foundation assists the arts, education, and people in need. The Vizard Foundation has generously supported key projects including a publication in support of John Gollings: the history of the built world, an MGA Australian and international traveling exhibition, and MGA’s 30th anniversary celebration publication which will be released in 2020.

Gordon Darling Foundation

The Gordon Darling Foundation was established in 1991 by Gordon Darling, who passed away in 2015, aged 94. Its purpose was and is to fund Visual Arts activities Australia-wide. The Foundation's charter is to support the visual arts and to promote, through Public Institutions, access to and enjoyment of all areas of the visual arts, to the broadest possible audience. They have generously supported MGA with several key projects including a publication in support of John Gollings: the history of the built world, an MGA Australian and international traveling exhibition, a travel grant to support MGA’s Director to travel to China and most recently a grant to support MGA’s 30th anniversary celebration publication which will be released in 2020.
